What you need to do:
- Stay in your shelter for safety. If it is badly damaged, move carefully to a safer place.
- If you evacuated, stay where you are until you are told it is safe to leave. Roads may be blocked or badly damaged.
- Do not go outside or try to check for damage yet.
- Have your emergency kit and grab and go bag handy in case you lose power.
- Stay clear of fallen trees, power lines and damaged buildings.
